Things We Found No. 7
IT IS FRIDAY! YIPPEYY
This week we found this super cool project by Swedish artist Michael Johansson, who creates giant sculptures from unwanted furniture, discarded household goods and other mundane everyday objects. We are having a big move around in the studio at the moment so maybe this is the way to go with some of our old storage units.
We came across this website a while ago that explores how a logo can scale responsively in web browsers. With the official release of the new Apple watch this week, it is important to consider how logos scale to different screen sizes. Today it is important for brands to consider how they can adapt and change digitally to help enable them to live on your desktop but also on your tablet, your phone, your glasses and your watch.
Schools engaging with technology
Following last weeks post that featured Hackaball, a ball that kids can programme themselves to invent and play games. We also came across this article today discussing how schools up and down the country, children are making apps, building robots and programming Raspberry Pi computers. It is great to see many people taking note on this with support from companies like Barclays who have recently launched Code Playground, a scheme offering free monthly sessions in branches around the country, where children and adults can learn coding together.
